Montemar English Language Framework

The communicative approach is based on the idea that to learn a language successfully, the learner has to communicate real meaning. That is why through meaningful and real communication activities, the emphasis on skills, a more learner-centered classroom and the use of more authentic materials, Montemar students will develop the skills needed to face the linguistics challenges proposed by the school itself as well as the The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the International Cambridge Examinations.

Each of the following levels aims to fulfill the profile described in The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the International Cambridge Examinations.

In relation to the Internal Cambridge Examinations carried out each semester, the English Department has set the following goals represented in passing percentage of students per level for the upcoming years:
• 2018: 50%-60%
• 2019: 60%-70%
• 2020: 70%-80%
